In this page you will find the necessary information to apply for a visa to enter Malta. For updated information please refer to the official Maltese Government site at www.gov.mt.

The site provides a list that shows all foreigners who do not require a visa to visit the island. All other foreign nationals who are not listed have to apply for a visa for entry into Malta, which is issued by the Immigration Police. All students requiring visas must fill out the Visa Entry Form available from the Maltese Government website or by clicking on the links below:

CONDITIONS

- No visa requiered as if the passenger is valid SCHENGEN visa holder.

- No visa required for the Green (Special) Passport holders

- In all other falls except above mentioned cases, VISA is required.

- Necessary Documents: Visa application form, photocopy of the passport.

- Passenger do need to hand the reference letter which can be issued by Malta Honorary Consulate or Air Malta Istanbul GSA-Camelot Air Travel and 2 passport size photo whilst entering to Malta.

- Visa is free for Turkish nationals.


If an applicant is residing in a country where no Maltese Embassy/High Commission or Consulate exists, the applicant may contact the Honorary Consul for Malta in order to be able to apply for the Visa. Where there is no official Maltese representation in a country, the applicant should apply directly to the Immigration Police in Malta, with whom s/he should check all the requirements that are relevant to his/her passport. You can apply by faxing the application to the Commissioner of Police together with a photocopy of the passport of the applicant and other requested documents.
